Some say Edmund de Wight was found wandering the desert as a baby, others say his mother won him playing craps, yet others say that aliens were spotted near Vegas on the night he was brought into the world. Draw your own conclusions.
Ed has always had a thirst to learn new things. he has pursued such diverse careers as a carnival barker, a cryptologist and linguist in military intelligence, a computer technician, a bartender, and the owner of a small retail business.
Edmund de Wight’s love of writing began at the tender age of eight. He wrote a story about a talking monkey (shocker) called “The Monkey who Wanted to be Human”. He still feels it was a misunderstood masterpiece of children’s fiction. Needless to say, his stories are a lot more grown-up these days with nary a speaking animal to be found.
Edmund de Wight has traveled the world and managed to see the entire USA with the exception of two states. His life experience allows him to bring a wide worldview to his writing. For hobbies, Ed’s pursuits are as varied as wood carving, relief printing, sword fighting, and of course, never-ending efforts at home remodeling.
